Campaign Story

Hello everyone, my Name is Lonya, and I’m very shy and nervous. I’m 42 years old and I do have two children who are now 22 and 23 years old. The reason for my fundraiser is because I’m not financially able to obtain the treatment that I need at my age. I got married in the Caribbean almost 3 years ago and me and my husband situation is a little unique. I go to his country to vacation there for 2 to 3 months at a time every three months. So when I go visit we have been trying to get pregnant for over two years now and I realize that it’s just a journey we have to , dedicate to God. I’ve been stressed out. I’ve been emotional. I’ve been a wreck just trying to figure out what’s going on. I have had some awareness testing, which means that I paid out of pocket for only some small test that can only determine something small, not major and at this point they’re still needs to be more testing and much more treatment . MyHusband💜 both share the same desire and dreams. We talked about this when we first met how we wanted to be happily married and start a family. My previous kids I was a single mom raising them on my own and I asked God to give me a second chance to do it the right way and fulfill my desires to have at least four children . It would mean the world to me and MyHusband💜 if we could get the help that we need due to our finances not being sustainable to seek the treatment that we need to pay for. So we are asking for helping hands people who understand our goals, our desires are wishes and can extend a helping hand to us. I want this journey to be happy healthy, and something I’ll never forget however I am mindful that sometimes we just can’t get everything we want and so it will be a blessing if we can, but I will not force anything . I called this my miracle baby because there’s so many different obstacles. I’ve already gone through and I really had given up. MyHusband💜 called me crying a few times randomly and he says what’s wrong and a woman’s biggest fear is not being able to do what she’s built to do , we have been emotionally frustrated we have been overly stressed and yes, we have been worried that it will not transpire, but I still believe in God and whatever he has for me and my husband, we will receive it with love with joy with grace and happiness. I’m doing this fundraiser in hopes to be successful and us having a baby and not giving up , so I want to take this opportunity to even think whoever is reading this whoever feels something touch them deeply and understand where I’m coming from.
